U.S. First was seeking to find its voice as a credit union in a world of banks when they turned to Gumas and their expertise in Challenger Branding. By examining the TRUE landscape of banking, it became clear that banks were abusing their customers with low-balance fees, ATM withdrawal fees, and a myriad of other fees that ate away at their customers accounts. From this came the strategy of Stamping Out Financial Abuse, which helped U.S. First stand out in a world of banks.
