Pat’s main goal at Gumas is to make sure that the organization runs smoothly, thus ensuring that the needs of the clients are met in a timely manner. Her impressive background includes customer service director positions at Digital Equipment Corporation and Ampex. Pat holds a BA degree in Business Administration/Finance from the University of San Francisco.
How do you define great advertising?
I think great advertising must have a strong inherent meaning, be unique and be uniquely relevant to the target audience.
What inspires your work?
For me, it’s achieving tangible results, and feeling as though I’ve made a difference for my team and our clients.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I love spending time with family and friends, and taking my dog for long walks on the trail close to our house. I also like trying out new recipes and sharing those meals with friends and family.
Where were you born?
I was born overseas in Tehran (Iran). My favorite memories are of going to the ocean when I was little and spending time playing in the sand. I remember going to the bazaars with my grandmother and seeing all the merchants selling their goods.
What’s the most unusual thing you know how to do?
I’m double jointed, so I can curl the tips of my fingers!
